$1 Billion Powerball Jackpot Won in California

The winning ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven store in Morro Bay, California. The store will receive a $1 million bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winner has not yet come forward to claim their prize. They have 180 days to do so.

The Powerball jackpot has been growing for months, as no one has won the top prize since February. The jackpot had reached $1 billion after 40 consecutive drawings without a winner.
